Knight of the Talonguard

The Knights of the Talonguard are knights enfeuded in Falconreach, that due to their exceptional exploit or the formal request to the Duke, may serve in its personal guard.

This is the rulership position for the Duchy, the one invested with it having also reign over Talon's Reach, the Duchy capital.

Lord / Lady of the Reach

The Lords of the Reach are the ones responsible of the major houses composing the Duchy of Falconreach, each being the leader of its noble house, with right to infeud knights and lesser nobles, landed or not, in their name.

Lord Stalwart of the Talonguard

The Lord Stalwart of the Talonguard is the commander of the Duke's personal guard, ensuring the protection of the Duke and its family, and with the authority to substitute the Duke in battle when he doesn't take the field to lead his soldiers.

Lord Marshal of the Reach

The Lord Marshal of the Reach is elected in time of war when the situation calls for all the armies of the Duchy to be levied.

As such he has the right and duty to coordinate the war effort, leading and instructing the other nobles on the war strategies devised.

It is an elective title, and as such it falls on the Lords and Ladies of the Reach to decide the most apt to fill this role.

In times of peace it is not required to invest a Lord Marshal, so the title is to remain dormant.
