Realm Description
- Members may not war against each other except under the following conditions.
- Attacks must be declared prior to any action, nobles must each lead 35 soldiers or less and only one estate may be taken each raid. Truce will last 15 weeks after each raid.
- Raiding may be done without declaration and resources, gold and thralls may be taken, but buildings must not be damaged. Retaliatory attacks on nobles is allowed but to attack an estate is considered an act of war.
- All clanleaders will be considered as members of the council. One of them will be elected 'Firekeeper'
- The Firekeeper is the speaker within the council and thus determines which matters are prioritised, he acts as representative to other realms, but he does not vote unless to break a tie. He holds the rulership position.
Council will physically meet roughly every 20 weeks (5 real time weeks) to determine the new Firekeeper, and will discuss other matters regularly by lenden messages.
If the majority of the council agrees, the realm as a whole will join in the defence of a member who is under attack or raid from outside.
- Group war or raid may be called by the majority in the Council but clans will not be forced to send soldiers or nobles.
- Realms outside Clan d'Serrai who wish to join the Council will be offered Associate Membership rather than the Official members of those within the Council realm itself.
- Affiliate members enjoy all rights and responsibilities of Official Members but can not be appointed to the position of Firekeeper.
- Loyalty to any liege realms supersede loyalty to the Council - though continued interaction is expected between Council realms even during times of war.
