Ermalion is a part of Lumen and both are parts of Erstes Imperium.
The Marshal of Ermalion will always be a lord, responsible for the military organization of the Mark. He will work together with the military branches of the other Marches within the Duchy of Lumen, and eventually also with the realm at large.
The Marshal must be attentive, compelling in his leadership and courageous. Many times, the most military-favoured knights will swear their oath to the Marshal for quicker organization and easier rewards.
Responsible for all the daily runnings of the realm in the absence of the Marchioness.

The Mark of Ermalion is born from the rolling hills of Lumen, in the original center of Erstes Imperium. As the empire expanded west and northwards, it became a resting and supplying point for those traveling to the capital in Lakehold.
The beer in the region is passable, and while the cities aren't very large, one can always find food, lodging, basic supplies and entourage for their journey. It is also the main trade channel between the original capital in the coast and the powerful hold around the lake in the west.
