A Matter of Faith: The Ecclesia's Deliberation
Under the ever-pervading brilliance of Aeternum Solis, The Ecclesia grapples with a theological quandary igniting fervent discussions among the faithful. As the Imperium Asraniae marks its founding year, the contention surrounding Imperator Asran Eternius Hirodanus's adoption of the Apotheon title persists, casting a black cloud upon our devout community.
Within the Ecclesia, there exists a faction wary of Asran's embrace of the Apotheon, branding it as potentially divisive and, in extreme views, heretical. Conversely, a formidable cohort of Asrian clergy staunchly advocates for Asran's entitlement to the title, extolling his indispensable contributions to the resurgence of our venerable faith. Indeed, who more fitting to bear such a weighty designation than the last of the Triumvirs and the sole sovereign of the Solisian Empire, especially given his pivotal role in the ousting of the Tyrant Sharona Arbuckle?
Whispers, akin to ethereal wisps, permeate the sanctified corridors of the Ecclesia, hinting at clandestine consultations among the Elder Clergy concerning this contentious issue. Murmurs abound regarding The Cult of the Martyrs and Chivalrous Spirits, a sinister sect allegedly allied with the Proditores, tormenting the faithful along the perimeters of the Solisian Empire. Though unsubstantiated, tales proliferate concerning their occultic practices. Margot, a venerable merchant hailing from Maritima and trading in the spice of Sudenbourg, recounted her chilling encounter. "My caravan and I stood transfixed, silent witnesses to their profane rituals, undoubtedly intent on seizing my virtue," divulged the 70-year-old Mortal, later recounting her narrow escape, fleeing to the borders of Fairshore under the cloak of night.
Simultaneously, murmurs emanating from the heart of Asraniae intimate at a maneuver by Imperator Asran The Light-Bearer himself. Reliable sources from Palatium Asrani suggest a surge in remuneration for soldiers within his legions, perhaps indicating preparations for prospective conflicts, my discerning reader? Does the Empire fortify itself against external adversaries, or do shades of dissent lurk within its bounds?
In supplementary news, the grain prices of Caorran maintain their steadfastness, while the Western Imperator appoints new lords to oversee...
