Formerly known as Baronnie de Calanthe.

When King Jean-Christophe de Renais et Grünewald-Lichtenberg of Magvel returned with the Ritter von Grauesland by his side, conflict ensued in order to drive the northerners out and for Magvel to reestablish itself once again in the Southern Coastlands. The short lived conflict was known as the 'Sudterres Campagne'.

With Magvel supremacy re-established once more in Ocean's Retreat and the 'Sudterres Campagne' over, King Jean-Christophe de Renais et Grünewald-Lichtenberg pushed forward a set of laws and reforms concerning the port.

The laws and reforms are as follows:

By decree of King Jean-Christophe de Renais et Grünewald-Lichtenberg of Magvel on 18-51-5 the Baronnie de Calanthe shall henceforth be known as Port Libre de Calanthe.
Though a Barony. The Port Libre is ruled by the Port-Maire with its garrison commanded by the Garnison Commandant.
Ocean's Retreat will now formally be recognized as a Port Libre. A hub of trade, commerce and tourism.
Ocean's Retreat docks shall always be open to First Ones of friendly nations.
Non-Aligned First Ones may request dock access with the Port-Maire, the ruler of the Port Libre.
The inheritance of the Port Libre is decided by the King.
