Westhold March is one of the oldest establishments in the history of the continent. Formed in the earliest of days under the banner of Erstes Imperium and the Lakehold Duchy, it is ruled to this day by its founder, Marquis Grellar Laylan.
At one time consisting of nearly half the Empire's territory, the Dunkirk's treason and the Ogren's betrayal has reduced its borders significantly, but not its military strength. The gates to every village now are closed by default and each host a meaningful defense.
In terms of culture, Westhold once boasted the most open and encouraging environments to be found. Now its residents are wary of compatriots and strangers alike.
