On the sixth day of the thirteenth week of the tenth year the ädlerinen have arrived to the lands of Rhodia and established rule on the embers of the dwindling Duchy. With them they brought knowledge and might and restored the dying lands that were fading away. When Konrad von Hennenberg took hold of the palace in Ritterstadt and married Marie von Brandengraf the Herzogtum Westerreich was born and Konrad was crowned as its first Herzog. Now, the Herzogtum looks to expand its culture and military might through the iron will and unbent conviction in the teachings of St. Glædwinen.
The ädlerinen are the ethnic group that migrated from the lands of Erstes Imperium to the west and settled in the vast plains beyond Al Najaf mountain range. To their east lie the endless wastes of the Lowlands, the Northern sea fiercely sits on their north, the Schwarzer Drache river protects their settlements to the south and from the west looms the Dark Forest, the Broken Lake and the strong currents of Natunni river. They are a most sturdy folk generally characterized by tall statures, very rough in their language and stern in their ideals. They cling to the knightly way of life and tend to be wary of the unbelievers. The ädlerinen excell in warfare and endurance and have proven themselves as able stewards of the land entitled to them. Their stadts are the bustling centers for hundreds of the lowborn, whilst their burgs are built with precision and care. Besides their oaths and pledges to one another they are further invigorated in the excessive faith in monotheism, as was heralded by St. Glædwinen.
