March of the Western lords is a part of The Neo Eternal Empire.
This is the rulership position for the realm.
The Commanders are the vassals of the Marcher lords. Although the Marcher lord's vassals can style themselves as Lords of the Marches it would only be honorary and would not pass down their lines.
The March of The Northern lords are the protectors of the Kingdom's borders. First to respond to an invasion threat ; Like their Crusading counterparts Marcher lords are expected to lead their Knights into battle which provides numerous occupational hazards and can sometimes lead to very short tenures.
The Western Marches of The Kingdom of Asrania are mainly filled with lush green lands. However since this territory was recently acquired during the reign of Haegon; It has little to no infrastructure and the food production is minimal at best. However given enough time The Western Marches can be a prime contributor of food and main supplier of horses.
The current ruler of the realm is Patravia Northania a famous Marcher Lord notable for her roles in the Second Blood Crusade.
