Grand Fate es un dominio independiente.
The Imperator is the military head of Republic of the Grand Fate, coordinating it's defenses in times of peace and it's entire military in times of war. As this position authorizes them to know the military standing of the Republic, they are forbidden from partaking in any conflicts within the Grand Fate. Specifically, they are to engage in all conflicts with measured force, a tempered hand, and just retribution. Together these mean that the goal of conflict is not total destruction, complete domination, or hollow victories, but honorable warfare.
Renamed from "Core Realm Ruler" on 15-35-5, this title marks that individual as a member of Republic of the Grand Fate's Grand Council.
Previously, Core Realms used to be the select part of the Grand Fate that held legislative authority. The reforms of Year 7 however, did away with the distinction.
The Chancellor of Republic of the Grand Fate acts as the singular judicial authority in the realm for the broad majority of legal cases. They are equivalent to the High Justice found in other realms.
The Praesul is the elected representative of Republic of the Grand Fate's Grand Council--a "Speaker of the Realm", if you will. They are primarily responsible for diplomacy.
As Republic of the Grand Fate considers itself to be the equivalent of an empire, this is the rulership position for the realm.
By Assembly decree on 24-36-1, granted further privilege to act as Chairman to the Assembly.

The major thing to note: At it's core the Republic is a massive Mutual Defense Treaty with very few things governing all realms that are a part of it, beyond that.
The Republic of the Grand Fate of the Fading Isles a realm born out of the collaboration of several high level entities within the Fading Isles after various actions of that realm's ruler.
Officially it is a form of Republic, where distinctions are made between the realms that are members.
Diplomatic meetings between your realm and the entirety of the Grand Fate should be directed to the Praesul, our Speaker of the Realm.
There are three categories of realms within the Republic: Assembly Realms, Associate Realms, and Unassociated Realm.
Assembly Realms are realms that have formally and completely joined the Grand Fate. Realms are voted into this status by the Grand Council, usually after being an Associate Realm.
Associate Realms are realms undergoing a probationary period. This is not to say they are part of the Republic, but that they are single being reviewed by the Assembly before being fully admitted, and formal admittance may come with requirements that they end current wars or prove they are committed to our ideals, for example. The Republic Assembly will vote realms into this status.
Unassociated Realms are those that have simply found someone that was part of the realm and said "I want to be with you". Technically, they're not even considered an actual part of the Republic yet, but they've indicated a willingness to become an Assembly Member. To gain Assembly Status they must request a vote by the Assembly on the matter. A simple majority is required for it to pass.
The Republic's government consists of the Assembly, in which every family of First Ones is represented and most laws are created and voted upon, and the Grand Council, within which the Rulers of all Assembly Realms reside.
Being a part of the Grand Fate Republic should be considered a benefit in and of itself. However, Assembly Realms enjoy the security of knowing that they have behind them the entire Republic of the Grand Fate of the Fading Isles.
That said, the Republic does not consider offensive wars a unified act. If a Member Realm attacks an outside power, the Republic will only intervene if that realm faces destruction and/or if it's loss would significantly harm the Republic.
Furthermore, while your realm is part of the Grand Fate, you enjoy full authority to govern how you see fit within your domain. Fate-wide laws are generally not implemented unless absolutely necessary.
