Manlith Martana'ân is a Zarmian duchy nestled south-east of Black Lake, between Alnajaf mountain range and the river Martana. Zarmians refer to it as young skies of Martana, due to these lands withholding spring of the mighty river. It is a hilly region that descends from peaks of Alnajaf, over lush valleys that predate thick woodland encircling Black Lake shores.
Its capital is town of Khulthulmedan, the Door, that lies in the feet of Alnajaf. Khulthulmedan serves as both the duchy's administrative and cultural center. Strategically, Martana'ân held a number of crossings over the river Martana, making it a site of a number of battles throughout ages past.
Historically speaking, these lands were once a part of mighty Rathgar, later seized by Karameikos, who finally lost them in the war against the Exiles.
