Realm Description

The Duchy of Alteländ is a large and growing nation. Its land is lush and green yet hilly and rugged. The land is populated by a tough and hardy people, adamant in their ways.

The duchy is bordered between the Ravennan Enclave to the North, Tel'Bywin and Tel'Mlindu to the South, the Tempus Lake to the East and Elysium to the West. The country of Alteländ mainly lives of fishing, weaponsmithing and farming.

The nation and government readily support the military. Citizens in the realm want a solid military force. The nation's goal is to protect its borders and gain new resources.

The government type of the duchy is that of a monarchy. The duchy has very strict laws of succession. The law is Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture. A female can only inherit the Duchy and become a Duchess when no males are available.

Alteländ itself is mainly covered in hills and has a cool climate, which has lead to a closely concentrated population, despite the number of people.
