It holds authority in all matters military, diplomatic, economic and domestic, though council should be considered.
A role indicating military authority below Marshal. Typically appointed to preserve chain of command or for campaigns for which none of the greater titles are available for.
Acts in council with other Vice Marshals or superiors.
Chief military commander in lieu of the Baron/Baroness; holds a similar authority as the Lord or Lady Constable in these matters except when the Baron or Baroness is incapacitated, in which case the Marshal gains authority.
Chief military planner (e.g. recruitment and quality of soldiers) in lieu of the Baron/Baroness; holds a similar authority as the Lord or Lady Constable in these matters except when the Baron or Baroness is incapacitated, in which case the Master of Arms gains authority.
In charge of peacekeeping activities within the Barony in lieu of the Baron.
