The Jarldom of Thulê covers the misty lands east of the Martana River to the sea. It is a tough cold country. Much of it is unexplored and covered by eerie frost covered forests that seem to speak to their visitors.
The townfolk of these lands always claim you'll hear the Jarl before you seem him, but only if he likes you. The villagers say he simply came out of the woods near Burzum one day, speaking of times long past. Times when the Gods still roamed these lands and Rathgar was just in its founding breaths. Many of the peasants worship him as a God of the Forest for his animal affinity, correct bird auguries, vanishing into thin air and many more fantastical tales.
