Diplomatic Relations To Other Realms

Realm Description

Rivercrest is nestled below the Appala Mountains to the south and the Bright Lake to the north. The realm is built along the river banks of Pomerina and stands our as one of the most fertile realms of Ryne. Lush Nandorwin Forest protects the realm and makes it a very demanding terrain to cross.

History

Rivercrest was born when the Queen of Ryne saw it fit to reward Lord Thomelin Strongcrest for his services and appointed him as a Count. The initial lands included two major settlements: capital settlement of Rivercrest and an ancient Fortress Strongwald which formed the core of the realm. Later on, through conquest, Rivercrest's holdings expanded to Winterdell in the south and Lumens in the north.

Regions

Rivercrest Hearhtlands

The capital settlement is located on the western bank of Pomerina. City of Rivercrest peaked during the rule of the Strongcrest family. On the eastern bank of Pomerina proudly stands the mighty Fortress Strongwald; an ancient fortress with massive walls and powerful defensive mechanisms that very few settlements can compete with.

Appala Verge

Everything south of the capital and all the way to the Appala Mountains is considered as Appala Verge. These lands are a mix of ice and forests, where metal abounds in natural resources. The settlements that are located along the river run of Pomerina are more fertile and are larger holdings than the rest.

Virens Flatlands

The Virens Flatlands are the holdings north of Pomerina. These lands are vast and open, with two major and ancient settlement: Virens and Lumen.

Religion

Spirits of Iel guard the realm of Rivercrest. Iel is an ancient god who released his spirits into this two in the time unknown. As such, the gods watch over us from their holy place. Setanapiel, the god of rivers, seas and lakes gives us water and fertility of our lands. Anataliel, the forest god, grants us his thick woods and leaves, which provide for food, game and building material. Astor, the mighty god of the mountains created stone and metal, which in return grants us walls and iron.
