The Coastal Mark of the Amber Beaches is a rich, economy-focused Mark that spans a large portion of the civilized coast on the East of the continent.
A passing traveler might notice that the name is quite well chosen for the area, as its beaches shine Amber bright in the morning sun. You should see the splendor that only such fine sand of such beautiful coloring can produce every morning again, as the sailers set to sea. And the Eastern whales sometimes leave the precious Ambergris on the shoreline which makes for a very intriguing and profitable trade.
Most of the Mark's fortune therefore comes from the sea and some very artistic crafting centers inland, but it is mainly the gentle nature of the people and the economic wit taught to them by the Curs Family that rules it that makes the Mark flourish.
