The Principality of Alauna is a fledgling state in the west of Imperium Asraniae ruled by Princeps Osric Laurent. As a part of resettlement efforts in both the Wastes of the West and Valentia after the Triumvir War, an edict was passed within Imperium Asraniae promising parcels of land to Asranian and Caorrani soldiers; these men and their families would go on to be the first Alaunans. As a result, the national culture of the Alaunans is a blend between that of the Caorrani and Asranians - living in the scrublands of the Wastes and the sparsely habited coasts of Valentia, the Alaunans also possess a unique frontier spirit and provide renowned riders to the legions of Imperium Asraniae.
