Ashford is a Duchy within Irondale and the Erstes Imperium. It's nobles are loyal and brave and the young realm will surely grow in unity and strength. The First Ones come together to develop the land and live in peace, but they will also work to forge a reputation of diplomacy, chivalry and strength and will not fear fighting to defend their land and their people.
1st Duke of Ashford, Gosso Monton was appointed on 4-54-3.
After a time of prosperity under Gosso's rule, on 5-39-1 Duke Gosso passed into the realm of the Gods - how he died or at whose hand he died are still are unknown.
The Duchy was inherited by his wife, Princess Freya Thatcher-Monton of Dragonhaven. At that time, Dragonhaven was being attacked by large forces from Elysium and the Litranti. Though the First Ones of the Imperium sought to protect the new Duchess and her lands, Lady Freya was killed in battle on 5-46-3.
The realm technically passed into the hands of the distant King of Valinor, William Thatcher, who was a relative of Duchess Freya's. However, he conceded that it was impractical for him to rule the land and he willingly abdicated the position.
On 5-50-1 Æva, the daughter of Duke Gosso, was elected to the position of Duchess and now rules as Æva Monton.
