Commander of the Emperor's Legions. The Grand Imperator is tasked with designing the strategy and position of the armies.
Imperial Magistrate is an electable official of the Imperial Office who receives a wage for his service. He is charged with maintaining the sanctity of the imperial laws as well as arbitrating the disputes between Sarantines.
Caste of warriors without land or estates, bound to fight and conquer in the name of the Empire. Their main duty is to defend and expand the borders of the Empire with their zeal and battle skills.
The Imperial Treasurer is an electable position of the Imperial Office who receives a wage for his service. He is charged with collecting the Imperial Tithe for the capital as well as conducting foreign trade.
The Imperial Retainer, as chosen by the Emperor, is charged with providing logistical support to the main armies. In times of war he is responsible for steady supplies to the front lines, while in times of peace he prepares the camp followers and other entourage members for the war campaigns.
