The Marquess has authority over all of Aesclind, and if a vassal does not do as ordered he might get in trouble. But once a sub-realm is created the Marquess has much less authority over the leader of that realm, he can only advise him to do certain things and the ruler has to aid Aesclind in war, but otherwise he has full authority over his own realm.
The holder of this title decides where to create mines, which metals to prioritize and what to do with the metal.
The holder of this title manages the fisher villages and anything else that has to do with the lake, and decides when peasants are allowed to fish and how much they are allowed.
He also decides what to do with the fish.
The holder of this title decides how much forest is to be cut down, where to cut it down and where and how much to regrow forests.
He also decides what to do with the wood.
He manages the fields and food of Aesclind.
Knights who have claimed a settlement will get this position, even when they become part of a sub-house and take their settlement(s) with them, they will hold this title, as long as they do not leave Aesclind.
Second in power to the ruler, and controls the most successful settlement or sub-house of Aesclind.
He controls Aesclind whenever the ruler is absent.
He controls the troops of Aesclind when a great war is happening, and any extra troops will be sent to where he commands them, but the ruler can overwrite these orders whenever he wishes.
House Aesclind was created when Ryne was decided to be split into different houses, this is the house of Jon Johnsson, the duke of Sunthrone.
Aesclind has a "council" of Elders who decide over different resources, and settlement types.
