Journals are player created messages about things in game. Most of the time these can be considered to be known things, as somethig your character heard via rumor, though they can also be flagged as out of character information that is really only meant for your enjoyment as a player rather than for use by your characters (unless they happen to know of it some other way.)

The Custodians roamed, unknown to most sands.
A tale in bedtime whispers, a myth so grand,
Mythological warriors, in legends they stand."

"Caorrani folks, in their beds they lay,
Dreaming of Custodians, so far away.
Dismissed as mere fables, their existence astray,
But in archaic scrolls, proof came to sway."

'In Darkness, Light', dispelling the night.

'In Tyranny, Justice', in battles they smite."

Custodians are real, not just a claim,

The Solar Ecclesiarch's wise declare,
The Custodians' service, with grace they share."

"Honor Guard, their role defined,
Safeguarding pilgrims, a duty enshrined.
In the Aeternum Solis, their purpose aligned,
Custodians bound, their allegiance assigned."

"Dungeons and ruins, their quest to pursue,
Holy artifacts lost, a mission to imbue.
A boon for The Ecclesia, a sacred preview,
Custodians' aid, in endeavors they strew."

The Custodians tasked, the Raetia to be dealt.
In battles fierce, where enemies stood,
Saint Lachlann fell, slain as a hero."

A Duchy bestowed, for the Order's praise,
