The Farvick League is a union of Free Cities based on the Island of Farvick in the Fading Isles. Its founding ideals are Liberty and Justice.

The realm is led by two separate assemblies. The Grand Council where all of the members of the realm may discuss and decide on matters of law or justice. Votes are cast on most matters with each estate holders casting one vote. The First Lord and three Dukes are appointed by the Grand Council. Any vote passes if an absolute majority (over half the total votes) are in favour, or if the majority of votes cast are in favour once two weeks have passed. Most matters of the realm are discussed and voted on here, though the Small Council have excutive powers and the authority to act quickly and decisively if necessary.

The Small Council are elected and retain their positions indefinitely. ensure liberty, justice, fairness and transparency are upheld in the actions of the Grand Council and Rector.

The Small Council elect one Lord as the Rector, or First Lord of the Small Council, he/she holds this position only while they have the majority of Small Council in favour. Their authority is limited to formalities, appointments to offices, the guidance of discussion and the counting of votes only.

Inhabitants of the island are often known to worship gods of the Mercian Pantheon. Most revered are Bel, the god of light who guides the sun each day, and Anu, goddess of crops and fertility who nurtures all forms of life. Barinthus is an important God as he rules the seas and rains, he command storms and is tasked with carrying the dead to Avvalach abreast his waves. Andraste is a goddess one never wishes to meet, she step out of shadows and silence and shows herself to each man only once. She reaches with a lightest touch and then they die. There are many other gods and each with their own task or power - the people of Farvick hope they will in time come to know them all.
